When news broke that Horizon Forbidden West was being pushed to 2022, Guerrilla Games quickly dropped the much demanded 60fps Update for Horizon Zero Dawn on the PS5.
While we have to wait until February 18, 2022 for HFW, you’ll have plenty of time to play HZD on your PS5! While the game is rockin’ on Sony’s current-gen console, a few issues have appeared.
Guerrilla is on the case as Update 1.54 is now live coming in at 313MB:
– Fixed an issue where some cinematics did not have any audio on external audio devices when running on a PS5™ console in backwards compatibility mode.
– Fixed the FOV slider in Photo Mode.
– Fixed several crashes when running on a PS5™ console in backwards compatibility mode.
For those of you who missed the news, Sony reversed their decision regarding the upgrade path for HFW. If you buy the game on the PS4 you will now get the PS5 upgrade no matter which version you buy. See you on February 18th, Brah!
