During the month, an estimated 183,000 consoles were sold during the period ending on July 3rd. According to the latest Gfk data, this is actually a 6% increase when compared to the month prior. The PS5 was the best-selling console for the month of June. Although, when compared to the previous month, June did see a slight drop in stock. Yet, PS5 still managed to come out on top.
For the first 6 months of 2021, the PlayStation 5 is the top selling console, followed by the Switch and Series X/S.
Accessory wise, the DualSense White remains the No.1 best selling accessory. While, Midnight Black and Cosmic Red joins the list at No.2 and No.4 respectively.
Despite both Sony and Nintendo releasing big games during the month, FIFA 21 reigned supreme. The list goes as follows:
