If you’ve been paying attention lately you would’ve noticed that Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Edition leaked TWICE.
First it leaked on the Korean ratings team, then as part of next month’s PS Plus offerings, though the official information today didn’t mention anything about that.
This ‘Remake’ of Virtua Fighter 5 is being worked on by an ‘all-star’ team of devs AND RGG Studio, the peeps behind the Yakuza and Judgement series.
RGG’s Dragon engine is being used to completely rebuild the character models. A spokesperson told IGN that every stage will have a new BGM track, it’ll feature a new UI for the game, a new opening cinematic, plus new lighting/shaders.
It releases on June 1st, so you won’t have to wait long to get your virtua hands on this one!
