One of 2020’s most awarded and revered games, Hades, could soon slash its way onto PlayStation. As reported by Gematsu, the vibrantly styled rogue-like action game by developer Supergiant Games received a rating in Korea for PS4.

Worth noting, these ratings don’t always mean something is concrete. Yet, these still may prove something is cooking in the background. We do have some examples of titles receiving an age rating in Korea, only to be formally announced months later. Most notably, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered and Mass Effect Legendary Edition. These two in particular, all appeared on Korean Ratings boards, some time before their official announcement. Purely going off of the examples we have in the past, this is likely a strong indication of Hades coming to PlayStation 4.

Strangely enough, we also see Take Two is the games publisher. To be fair, Take Two isn’t just responsible for NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto. As their holdings also include, Private Division who, in the past, have published titles like The Outer Worlds. So, seeing them possibly publish Hades, isn’t too much of a surprise.

Supergiant, creators of Pyre, Transistor, and Bastion have hung their hat on quality for years. Yet, with Hades, it seems as if the team has created their magnum opus. And everyone has taken notice.

The game originally released on PC and Switch in 2020, leaving many console gamers eager to jump in. Hopefully, this means their opportunity is coming soon.
