Capcom announced the free online multiplayer add-on Resident Re:Verse as part of overall package set to release on May 7th with Resident Evil Village.

Capcom has delayed Re:Verse, as they did quietly in an email to Resident Evil Ambassadors this morning. It will now release in ‘Summer 2021’ instead.

After two recent beta test, it doesn’t shock me one bit. Those who had the chance to go hands-on with Re:Verse claim that the game had balancing issues between some characters being too overpowered and performance issues.

So perhaps this is for the best. In positive news, Capcom extend the availability window of the 60-minute multiplatform demo of Resident Evil Village from one day to eight.

You still have time to download these FREE PlayStation avatars before the releases on May 7th.

Don’t forget if you pre-order REV at Best Buy you’ll receive a SWEET SteelBook case!
