In news that doesn’t surprise anyone who knows what happened recently in Texas, DLC 6 (Director’s Cut) for Borderlands 3 has been delayed to April 8th.

The Director’s Cut will feature a new Raid boss, Murder Mysteries (new quests), Vault Card Challenges (think dailies), new rewards, and behind the scene’s features (find more about it my Director’s Cut article). It was originally scheduled to be released March 18th.

Last month Texas, and much of the country, got hit hard by a major winter storm. Texas suffered from severe infrastructure issues. Since Gearbox is based in Texas this news doesn’t surprise anyone. In fact, it was to be expected. Thankfully it sounds like everyone at Gearbox is okay! Yes, it sucks, but what can you do? As Tom Petty once sang “the waiting is the hardest part”.

Borderlands news has been pretty heavy recently. Earlier this week I wrote about The Hunt 2021 raising money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Also, there has been tons of casting news and updates about the MAJOR motion picture of Borderlands directed by Eli Roth starring a pretty stellar all-star cast.

Gearbox also announced Hotfixes for Borderlands 3 today. For more about that, watch the video below from my favorite Borderlands streamer, Ki11er Six.
