With the overwhelming success of The Witcher on Netflix the streaming giant is getting ready to (hopefully!) strike gold with their attempt at a Resident Evil Netflix series!
We already know that the series is rumored to begin production this June and will feature eight episodes at one hour a piece. Now a leak thanks to the Netflix Media Center we have the official synopsis of the yet to be confirmed series!
The town of Clearfield, MD has long stood in the shadow of three seemingly unrelated behemoths – the Umbrella Corporation, the decommissioned Greenwood Asylum, and Washington, D.C. Today, twenty-six years after the discovery of the T-Virus, secrets held by the three will start to be revealed at the first signs of outbreak.
No mention of Raccoon City H O W E V E R this sounds a million times better than one synopsis I read that involved Wesker’s twin daughters in the future? I don’t even know but it was complete garbage.
Now all Netflix needs to do is announce a Show-runner, The Cast, and an official release date. No pressure! You guys got this. And my renewed subscription when you drop this. Oh, and season 2 of The Witcher.
