PlayStation Productions DELAYS Uncharted Film Until Early 2021

Another chapter in the highly complicated development of the Uncharted film has unfolded, as Sony & PlayStation Productions have decided to delayed the film from late 2020 to March 5th, 2021.

Sony has moved #Uncharted back 3 months. It now opens 3/5/2021. Masters of the Universe has been taken off the calendar (it previously occupied Uncharted's new date)

This shouldn’t come as shock to fans, seeing as how the film’s sixth director, Trevor Knight, had to leave the film to film Bumblebee 2 near the same time Tom Holland (who is playing a Young Nathan Drake) has to film the next Spider-Man film, causing a conflict of schedules.

The film’s seventh director could be Venom’s Ruben Fleischer, yet nothing has been confirmed. Could this delay be because of Ruben not being able to join the film?
