Hardcore Fan’s Render of the DualShock 5 Could be a Taste of What’s to Come

Early last month Sony’s patents for the DualShock 5 went live, sending the PlayStation Nation into a frenzy over the new changes.

Goodbye lightbar. Hello USB type-C. Larger triggers on top. An updated touchpad. 3 mysterious holes near the bottom that haven’t had their functionality revealed yet. We know the DS5 is going to be heavier but not as heavy as the XB1 controller. It’ll have haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Overall positive changes in my opinion.

One hardcore PlayStation fan took it upon himself to turn those patent images into something more real, as artist Snoreyn created this DualShock 5 prototype image for LetsGoDigital.
