You already heard the news earlier today: Insomniac Games and Sony, after years of tip-toeing around it, have officially joined forces! Insomniac Games will soon officially be part of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Worldwide Studios!
During the celebration of this forthcoming union between this Major Development studio and Sony was an enormous nugget of news: As of July 28th Marvel’s Spider-Man has sold over 13.2 million copies worldwide!
That means 13.2 million PlayStation gamers enjoyed Spidey’s spectacular adventure. This also means that 13.2 million of them hated Screwball and her damn missions. UGH.
Seriously though, congrats to Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games on the amazing success they’ve had with Marvel’s Spider-Man! We can’t wait for the inevitable sequel! EXCELSIOR!!!
