Back at the PlayStation Experience in December of 2015, Golem was announced from Highwire Games and this is where we got our first glimpse of Twine and we learned that this innocence of a child had an incredible gift to somehow control these large stone like creatures called golems and see things from their point of view. But not only could Twine view things from their point of view, but create them as well.
Well, move forward two years later and it was announced that Golem was still in development, but that a prequel to Golem has been released, but not in game format, but in music form called Echoes of the First Dreamer (The Musical Prequel to Golem) As I listen to this, I closed my eyes and automatically got a filling of beauty, adventure, and magic would be happening once Golem does release. Fast forward to 2019 and it looks like the light at the end of the tunnel is finally coming.
At E3 2019, it was mentioned that not only would Golem be releasing, but a physical release would be present as well alongside the digital version. But the answer to the question of the release date was never answered until now.
It looks like both the digital and physical release (from Highwire Games and Perp Games) is coming to both North America and Europe this fall. So we don’t have much long now until Golem releases on PlayStation VR.
Until then…please enjoy…
