If you’ve been following the news drip for Death Stranding, then you already know that The Man of a Million voices, Troy Baker, has a role as The Man in the Golden Mask in Kojima’s next (potential) masterpiece.

Troy is all about giving back to the fans, so while he was at the Argentina Game Show 2018 he hosted a panel and of course was asked about his time with Death Stranding.

Norman [Reedus] and I shot for about two weeks on it, and he’s [Kojima] super rad. He’s really throwing his all into this game; he’s got an amazing work ethic. We’ve got some interesting scenes together that you guys have not even begun—it’s a huge game, the scope of the game is huge. If you know anything about Kojima, he doesn’t do small. It’s weird and it’s big.

Kojima creating weird games??! Awww yesssss. The coolest part? Kojima has had the game planned out for awhile now.

Kojima has had the whole game in his head for two years. He has assembled an incredible cast to pull off a fantastical game. It’s trippy, it’s weird; I have no idea when it’s coming out. I believe I’ve finished filming, so my role and everything – and I think Norman’s finished as well but I could be wrong.

IF Norman is done with his parts, that should mean good news for us Gamers. An earlier release date!? As in ya know, MAYBE mid-2020!!

Maybe.
